REGISTRATION
Please register on your arrival at the registration desk at the the Faculty of Education, Poříčí. You will receive the Conference Programme, badge and conference packs.

CONFERENCE OPENING
The conference will open with a key-note speech in the aula (room 50) at the Faculty of Education, Poříčí, at 1 p.m., on Friday, Sept 8.

ACCOMMODATION
As regards accommodation, we have made a preliminary booking for some accommodation which we have used in the past. If you wanted to make a pre-booking at the Halls ofResidence koleje Vinařská or Koleje bří Žůrků, you filled in the appropriate section of the registration. You are going to pay in cash at the accommodation of your choice.

Koleje Vinařská
Double rooms available (incl. bathroom and kitchenette). Price (students) – 250 Kč per night.
Price (non-students) – 350 Kč per night. It is possible to order breakfast for 80 Kč.

Koleje bří Žůrků
Double and triple rooms available. Price (students) - 200Kč per night. Price (non-students) –
260 Kč per night. Bathroom shared by two rooms. Kitchen on each floor.

HOW TO GET TO THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION, POŘÍČÍ STREET
From Brno Main Railway Station take a tram no. 2 in the direction of Modřice, smyčka and get off at Poříčí.
From Zvonařka Bus Station, you may take a bus no. 84 to Poříčí.

HOW TO GET TO VINAŘSKÁ
From Brno Main Railway Station take a tram no. 1 in the direction of Bystrc and get off at Výstaviště.
From Zvonařka Bus Station, you may take a bus no. 84 to Mendlovo náměstí and change to a tram no. 1. Another option is to walk through the underpass or take a tram no. 12 to the railway station (two stops). At the railway station take a tram no. 1 in the direction of Bystrcand get off at Výstaviště.
From the Faculty of Education, Poříčí, you may take a tram no. 5 or 6 to Mendlovo náměstí and change to a tram no. 1. in the direction of Bystrc and get off at Výstaviště.
The journey to Výstaviště takes about 12 mins. When you get off, cross the road to Hlinky and go up Vinařská. Walk up the road into the complex of the halls of residence and turn left to the main building.

MEALS
The reception on Friday will take place at Vinařská dining hall at 7.30 p.m.
Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Please note that some workshops finish at 12:30 and some at 12:45 so that the lunches can be distributed without unnecessary queues.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be provided during coffee breaks.

VENUE
All workshops on Friday and Saturday will take place in the buildings of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, Poříčí 9, 603 00 Brno.

RAFFLE
There are some great prizes donated by publishers and organizations involved in ELT, including study visits to Britain. It is definitely worth staying till the end.

ELT Resources Exhibition
This will take place at the Faculty of Education, Poříčí 9 in the basement.

Messages
Please look frequently at the message board in the foyer of the Faculty of Education for announcements and programme changes.

Cloakroom and luggage
Cloakroom services will be provided in room 67, in the basement.

Technical Assistance and Photocopying
Should you experience any technical problems, please speak to the secretary. Limited photocopying will be available on request in the secretary's office, room 305, third floor (1,-Kč per page).
